In this article,  I am going to write details about what is Web Anonymity, Why you need to be Anonymous & How to browse web Anonymously. If you are seeking an answer to these questions, you are in the right place. So, let's start.

1. What is anonymity?

Anonymity on the web means to browse the internet hiding your identity(IP address). If we wanna find someone, we gather his contact number or name. But now the communication is based on the internet and to find or trace someone on the internet,

we need a special kind of address of the victim and the address is called IP & MAC address. We can trace him by his IP address or MAC address and if the victim hides his IP or MAC address, there is about 0% possibility to trace him. This is the basic theory of anonymity

2. Why do you need to browse anonymously?

Suppose, you are a hacker and you have hacked the database of a bank. After that, they will gather your IP address and find out your all details from the network provider. Then, they will just arrest you. If you say I am using dynamic( In the case of dynamic IP, the providers let multiple users use the same IP) IP then it's not safe because the network provider has your details that who, who are using the same dynamic IP. Not only hackers but also every normal user should browse anonymously. Because, to keep information safe, users need to be anonymous. Suppose, you are a successful businessman. All the time, your government has been tracking you on the internet. They know everything about you like, What you chat, what you mail etc. and anyhow someone gets your sensitive data from a governmental database, it won’t be good for your career. So, I will suggest everyone be anonymous.

3. How to browse web Anonymously

How to be anonymous on the internet? Okay, there is no actual way to be anonymous perfectly. But I will share some ways to be anonymous. You have to use these ways depending on your work.

Proxy Site

It the most efficient way to keep yourself anonymous. In this way, you have to browse using proxy webs. There are many proxy webs such as   www.proxysite.com, www.hideme.com, www.croxyproxy.com, etc. Now, the matter is how much it can protect your data. Well, it will only hide your IP address but your data won’t be secure. I will say that using a proxy site is only a waste of time. Besides, if you use proxy webs, the interface of your browsed web won’t be that much clear. Sometimes it doesn't support JAVA and the web interface becomes broken. When you don’t have a VPN and you want to browse the web or download any file which is not legal in your country, you can use these proxy webs.

•MAC address changing

Every network adapter has a MAC(Media Access Control) address. It is a unique binary number. You need to change your MAC address because if anyone gets your MAC address, he will know many pieces of information and data

•VPN

VPN (Virtual Private Network) creates a private network across a public network. It routes your device’s internet connection through your chosen VPN's private server. So, the network providers can’t trace you. It hides your IP. It also sends your data to the server after encrypting. It is better than proxy sites but it isn’t fully safe. Suppose, you have hacked a bank database using VPN. The police can’t trace you with your IP, because you have used a VPN. But if they report to the VPN company, the company will give who has used that IP(as they have your details in their server). Then, the police will get your real IP. Mostly, Free VPN providers do these things. But there are some VPN company who don’t keep any log or information of their users. But they are mostly paid VPNs. Such as Nord VPN.

•Tor Network

I think you have heard about the “Dark Web”. It is also known as “Deep Web”. A lot of illegal works are done on the dark web. If you ask,” Don’t the police arrest them?” No, because the police can’t find their real IP as they use Tor Network. It is an execution of Onion routing, which encrypts and after that randomly bounces communications through a network of relays run by volunteers around the globe. Generally, it looks like a browser only.  Tor conceals its user's identity. So, if you use the Tor network, your data and information will be 99% safe. To keep your identity and data hidden, Tor is the most secure way.
